Role introduction

Go2Africa is an award-winning travel company with over 25 years’ experience tailor-making unforgettable safari holidays! We are looking for a mid-weight Graphic Designer or Art Director to join the Marketing team and support with a wide range of design-led tasks.


The successful candidate will be a multi-skilled lover of all things design, leading the Go2Africa design work. This means having the skills to navigate and solve challenges or making design decisions based on your experiences.


The role includes owning and evolving our CI, creation of marketing collateral and digital assets, image sourcing, editing and management, video creation, and various special projects. As and when needed, the successful candidate will assist with website UX / UI design. And importantly the role also allows for contributions to be made to Go2Africa’s overall brand strategy.

Candidate requirements



  • 3+ years of design experience in an Agency or Digital Marketing department
  • Proven experience of taking a brief, working within set brand guidelines to develop tactical or strategic campaigns or materials with a high visual impact
  • Proven competence in design and image processing software
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating marketing design skills that deliver engaging content across a range of platforms
  • Adobe Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Premier Pro, Lightroom)



  • Web/UI design:
  • CMS design (WordPress)
  • Email marketing (Mailchimp)
  • Design System tools (Sketch, Figma, Zeplin)
  • Video creation from stock and raw footage for reels/ads/product showcasing (Adobe Premier, Magisto, InVideo etc.)




  • Tertiary Degree in Marketing, Design, Fine Art or related field

Functional responsibilities

  • Owning the brand look and feel.
  • Updating all brand colleterial on a continuous basis.
  • Ensure all public-facing and internal design-led communications adhere to our brand standards and are consistent across all channels.
  • Creating design and / or video content for all Go2Africa Marketing campaigns.
  • Responsible for managing and administering the brand asset library, such as the photography library and adhering to brand guidelines across all projects.
  • Work in partnership with the wider marketing team to conceptualise campaign idea, ensure consistency and support on ad hoc projects as required.
  • Actively research, explore and conceptualise online opportunities/ trends/ innovations/ campaign ideas, and pitch concepts, ideas and innovations in design to Head of Brand.
