Jaci’s Private Lodge is a privately owned lodge situated in the malaria-free Madikwe Game Reserve. The lodge is built under a grove of tamboti trees on the edge of the Marico River.

Basking under a very temperate climate, Jaci’s Safari Lodge offers two enticing outdoor activities: you can work off the delicious meals on thrilling walking safaris and then fall asleep on one of the daybeds on your deck, or take a dip in the pool and watch as elephants amble past grazing on the riverene greenery as they go.
This is a fantastic lodge for those travelling with children, and the wide selection of villas and suites are ideal for families or small groups.

Suite Safari
The Safari Suites offer a spacious private deck and inviting sunken lounge create the perfect setting to relax, whether you’re watching elephants wander past or simply soaking up the peaceful atmosphere of the bush. Inside, twin or king-size beds are draped with generous mosquito netting for a peaceful, uninterrupted night’s sleep, while a freestanding bathtub beside a large gallery window offers uninterrupted views of the surrounding wilderness.
Air conditioning, fans and thoughtful modern comforts ensure a relaxing stay, while the suites are carefully positioned to maximise privacy without compromising easy access to the main lodge and its facilities.
For families, the Safari Suite Expeditions offers the same elegant design, private deck and wilderness views as the Safari Suite, with the added benefit of accommodating families. The spacious L-shaped seating area converts into two comfortable beds for up to two young children, allowing the whole family to stay together in comfort.
Suite Nare
For something more private, the Nare Villa, one of three villas at Jaci’s, is an exclusive bush retreat, named after the buffalo bull that frequents the waterhole in front of the suite. The suite accommodates up to six guests with an upstairs loft complete with its own toilet – perfect for children.
The suite also features a wooden viewing deck overlooking the waterhole, private swimming pool, exclusive-use bush vehicle and professional guide. Another impressive feature is that the suite’s lounge and dining area has a self-contained kitchen, where lodge chefs can prepare meals for you in privacy.
Jaci's Madikwe House
Perfect for families and multi-generational groups, Jaci’s Madikwe House is an exclusive-use villa accommodating up to 10 guests across five spacious en-suite bedrooms. Expansive open-plan living areas flow effortlessly onto outdoor entertainment spaces, where floor-to-ceiling windows frame uninterrupted views of the surrounding bush.
Designed for complete privacy and flexibility, the villa features both indoor and outdoor lounges and dining areas, a private plunge pool, viewing deck, wood-fired hot tub, pizza oven and a welcoming firepit for evenings under the stars.
A dedicated team, including a private guide, safari vehicle and private chef, ensures every aspect of your stay is personalised. Kubu Villa
Kubu Villa is another spacious exclusive-use retreat, designed for families and groups seeking complete privacy and dedicated service. Jaci’s Private Lodge has plenty to keep you entertained when not out on game drives in Madikwe Game Reserve. At the main lodge, you’re able to enjoy a swimming pool, spacious lounge, bar, a glorious fireplace indoors as well as on the deck that overlooks a wildlife-frequented watering hole. The kids’ are kept entertained with a children’s’ play area that offers indoor and outdoor activities.
The true highlight of Jaci’s Private Lodge is the Terrapin Hide. Here, you’ll get the opportunity to snap a few up-close pictures of the animals that come to drink from the nearby watering hole.

I pasti sono preparati con prodotti e carni fresche di stagione. La moderna cucina è a pianta aperta, quindi i pasti vengono preparati in piena vista della zona pranzo. Gustate una deliziosa colazione, un pranzo e un tè alto nel pomeriggio.

Tutto ciò che riguarda il Jaci's Lodge è stato fantastico. Il personale è stato incredibile, tutti estremamente calorosi, accoglienti e professionali. Le guide sono state fantastiche e hanno reso ogni safari (ne abbiamo fatti tutti e 10!) diverso ed emozionante. Il cibo era eccezionale e i lodge erano perfetti. Raccomandiamo vivamente il soggiorno a qualsiasi altro gruppo multigenerazionale come il nostro.
Il Jaci's Safari Lodge è l'opzione perfetta per famiglie e coppie. Alcune camere offrono un letto a stella sul tetto che può essere utilizzato al posto del letto interno. La maggior parte delle camere sono a forma di tenda e le camere e i bagni sono a pianta aperta, quindi assicuratevi di richiedere una camera con la porta del bagno se è ciò che gli ospiti preferiscono. Il personale è molto cordiale e dispone di ranger esperti.

Jaci's Lodge - Accoglienza - eccellente, tutto il personale si è presentato ed è stato sinceramente accogliente, ci siamo sentiti come se fossimo entrati in una famiglia. Sistemazione - incredibile, calda e confortevole, molta attenzione ai dettagli (cassetta di pronto soccorso in bagno), bottiglie di acqua calda e coperta riscaldata sono state accese per noi ogni notte. Abbiamo visto un sacco di animali selvatici proprio dalla veranda. Lodge - ci è piaciuto molto sederci intorno al fuoco e chiacchierare con gli altri ospiti. Cibo - abbondante e di alto livello, ben presentato e servito; abbiamo apprezzato la varietà degli ambienti in cui mangiare, soprattutto quelli all'aperto. Ranger / Fotosafari - molte informazioni, ha organizzato per noi un'escursione di un giorno - il pranzo nel bush è stata un'esperienza molto interessante, abbiamo visto un'ampia varietà di animali e uccelli, le nostre figlie sono rimaste interessate e coinvolte. Coperte fornite per riscaldarsi. Un gioiello assoluto di un posto dove ci piacerebbe tornare.
