Nkasa Linyanti serves as a gateway to Nkasa Rupara National Park, a key part of Namibia's conservation corridor, set on a remote island where vast stretches of untouched wetlands unfold before you. Extending from Botswana's renowned Okavango Delta and tucked between the Linyanti and Kwando rivers, it offers undiscovered terrains in a little-known region of the country, home to hidden lagoons, meandering channels and wildlife corridors. 

The area supports thriving populations of wetland roamers, including hippos often spotted navigating the channels and crocodiles skirting the rivers, while elephants and buffalo move freely between Namibia and its neighbouring countries. The camp itself offers a haven of modern comforts, nestled beneath the shade of leadwood and sausage trees, their canopy of dappled sunlight providing a serene retreat from the hustle and bustle of daily life. It blends seamlessly into a backdrop of lush, green, shimmering floodplains.

Nkasa Linyanti is open year-round, offering excellent game viewing throughout the seasons that can be experienced as game drives or walking safaris. When the water levels are at their highest, take to the waters in a dug-out canoe or boat, spotting an array of birdlife that congregate along the reed-beds — a sanctuary few have experienced and waiting to be explored.
