The group's story began in Zambia 70 years ago, when safari legend Norman Carr pioneered a safari experience based around community and conservation. Time + Tide has maintained this ethos, developing a more ‘grounded' tourism experience, rooted in safeguarding Africa's rich history, wildlife, people and cultures.

The focus is truly on slowing down, looking closer and touching the earth. The group's name reflects this too. Taken from the proverb ‘time and tide wait for no man', it stands as a reminder that time is fleeting, and we must choose to use it well.
