Hello and welcome to Botswana! Your international flight touches down in Maun before you’re transferred by helicopter to one of Africa’s most beautiful conservation areas – Moremi Game Reserve.
Lily-covered wetlands, glistening floodplains, wide-open grassland, and dappled forests make up the diverse habitat of Moremi Game Reserve – making it the perfect residence for a variety of wildlife. Game viewing in this region is impeccable year-round, with big herds of elephant and buffalo, as well as hippo, wildebeest, giraffe, lion, cheetah, leopard, hyena, and more animals being spotted throughout the reserve.
Khwai Leadwood serves as your home base for the duration of your stay in Moremi. This luxury safari camp offers a tranquil respite from which to enjoy modern comforts and conveniences between activities in the bush – all with the beautiful Khwai River and endless wetlands as your backdrop. Enjoy game drives, walking safaris, night drives and mokoro (traditional canoe) safaris in this game-rich region.
After a delicious breakfast, a helicopter transfer will drop you off at your next stop: Linyanti. This gem is fast becoming one of Southern Africa’s prime game viewing destinations, offering fantastic year-round wildlife sightings. Keep your eyes peeled for hippo and crocodile lining the riverbanks, large herds of elephant and buffalo grazing on the plains, and all the big cats and wild dogs hunting for prey.
Linyanti Bush Camp will serve as your second home for the duration of your stay. This intimate luxury camp offers comfort, convenience, friendly service and a fantastic location overlooking the Linyanti marshes. In addition to game drives, you’ll also be treated to guided walking safaris, superb bird watching, mokoro excursions, and night drives around the private concession.
