Experience 10 fantastic days as you explore the Pearl of Africa on a once-in-a-liftime adventure with the opportunity to track the mountain gorillas of Bwindi, view the Murchison Falls, and explore the Kibale Forest and Queen Elizabeth National Park.

Firstly, fly to Bwindi Forest National Park to see the one of the major highlights of your tour and a definite bucket-list item - a family of highly endangered mountain gorillas.

Continue your journey south to the stunning Queen Elizabeth National Park where you get to spot buffalos and lions as well as hippos and elephants as you cruise along the pristine Kazinga Channel.

Then fly to Kibale Forest National Park and explore its trees search for even more of primates; Kibale has some of the highest concentrations of monkeys and apes in East Africa.

Finally, wind down your adventure with a flight to Murchison Falls National Park for two days. Here you have the chance to spot wildlife in the park and on the famous Nile River. End off your adventure with a flight back to Entebbe.

Day 1: Arrive in Entebbe

Day 1: Arrive in Entebbe | 1 Night

Entebbe, Uganda

Arrive in Entebbe and be transferred to The Boma guesthouse for the evening. The Boma is a historic homestead just outside the city and offers views of the lake. Enjoy the rest of your day relaxing in the lush tropical garden or exploring Entebbe's lively markets and museums.

Days 2-3: Tracking the gorillas of Bwindi | 2 Nights

Bwindi National Park, Uganda

Today you leave Entebbe to fly to the Kihihi Airstrip near Bwindi Forest National Park. From the airstrip, you transfer to the Mahogany Springs lodge in Bwindi. The afternoon will be yours to enjoy and you can either relax and prepare for your gorilla tracking adventure or head out on a guided forest walk. 

The next day is one of the major highlights of your 10-day tour of Uganda as today you get to track the gentle mountain gorillas of Uganda. The day is long and tiring but once you get to observe these incredible creatures in their natural habitat you realise it was all worth it. Return to Mahogany Springs in the evening for dinner and stories around the table.

Days 4-5: Cruising the Kazinga Channel | 1 Night

Queen Elizabeth National Park, Uganda

After breakfast, you make your way to Queen Elizabeth National Park, which beset with small lakes and rolling hills. Embark on a short game drive once inside the park as you continue to the Mweya Safari Lodge for two nights. 

The next day begins early with a game drive through the Uganda Kobs as you search for lions, elephants and buffalo. In the afternoon, after lunch at the lodge, you head out on a boat cruise of the Kazinga Channel to search for more wildlife, including the gregarious hippo and elephants that cool off along the shore.

Days 6-7: Tracking the primates of Kibale | 2 Nights

Today has a later start as you fly to the Kasese Airstrip near the Kibale Forest National Park via Entebbe in the late morning. After meeting your safari representative, you begin the drive to the Primate Lodge Kibale, which is in the heart of the national park. Sit back and relax after your travel day as you enjoy sundowners while waiting for dinner to be served. 

The next morning enjoy a chance to track wild chimpanzees and other primates on a guided nature walk through the forest. The Kibale Forest has some of the largest concentration of primates in East Africa. Transfer after lunch to the Bigodi Swamp to track more primates and to spot the many species of birds in the region. 

Days 8-9: Exploring the Murchison Falls | 2 Nights

Murchison Falls National Park, Uganda

Early this morning you fly to the Pakuba Airstrip near the stunning Murchison Falls National Park. Transfer from the airstrip to the Paraa Safari Lodge, a small beautiful lodge on the banks of the Nile River. Enjoy lunch overlooking the river, before embarking on a game drive to explore Murchison Falls. 

Start the next day with an early breakfast and then a morning game drive in the northern part of the park to search for more wildlife. The area around the lodge is known to have giraffe, elephants, lions and several types of birds. Return to Paraa for lunch, before continuing your game viewing with cruise on the River Nile in the afternoon.

Day 10: Ending in Entebbe

Say goodbye today to Uganda as you fly back to the Entebbe International Airport in time for your afternoon or evening flight to another adventure or home.
