On arrival in South Africa’s Mother City, you are met and transferred to the Victoria and Alfred Hotel to check in and settle down into your plush surroundings. The Victoria and Alfred Hotel is centrally placed to near all the city’s main attractions. Plan the next couple of days ahead or get straight into it and head for the nearby V&A Waterfront. Finish off with a leisurely stroll through the harbour – with views of Table Mountain – before sundowner drinks and dinner.

When you are ready to venture out, choose from any number of Cape Town activities. Take a trip via the cable car or a hiking route to the top of Table Mountain, visit the excellent beaches of Camps Bay and Clifton, or do some shopping at the V&A Waterfont.

Further afield, explore the Cape Winelands and the Cape Peninsula on full or half-day tours.

Transfer after breakfast to the airport and board a flight to Vilanculos via Johannesburg. From Vilanculos you’ll transfer by charter flight to Bazaruto Island and spend the next week at the Indigo Bay Resort and Spa. Spend your first afternoon here relaxing on the tropical beaches or taking a walk through the resort’s gardens. This tropical location is the perfect backdrop for a relaxing spa experience. Recently renovated, this resort offers a full spa facility as well as two swimming pools.
