Detailed breakdown

Days 1-4: Search for big game in Sabi Sands | 4 Nights

Up arrow
Kruger National Park, Kruger Private Reserves, South Africa

Your luxury spa and safari experience begins today as you fly into Johannesburg's OR Tambo International Airport and catch a connecting flight to Sabi Sands Game Reserve, a private concession within the Kruger National Park. On arrival you will be transferred to Singita Ebony Lodge, your immaculate and stylish home for the following four nights. The Sabi Sands is famously rich with big game and birdlife, and you will set out on early morning game drives to spot animals when they are at their most active. Enjoy picnic breakfasts in the heart of the bush before returning to the lodge to spend the hottest part of the day relaxing. After taking a plunge in your private pool, you can savour a delicious alfresco lunch on the deck co-ordinated by your private butler and enriched with a refreshing tipple from the thoughtfully curated wine cellar. In the afternoon, retire to the Singita Spa where you can enjoy a range of skin-care treatments, body wraps and massages and hydrotherapy. In the late afternoons, when you are completely relaxed and rejuvenated, you will set out on an evening game drive to search for nocturnal wildlife. And to finish off another perfect day, arrive back at the lodge for a romantic candlelit dinner under an African night sky.

Days 5-6: Spend time in Johannesburg | 2 Nights

Johannesburg, South Africa

Today you will fly back to Johannesburg and spend two nights at Fairlawns Boutique Hotel, an exclusive hotel set in spectacular gardens of the leafy enclave of Sandton. Relax with one of Fairlawn's holistic spa therapies such as Swedish, aroma, hot-stone and Kuhuna back massages or revitalise your skin with the Glowing Radiance Facial. There are also a number of deep tissue massages, aromatherapy, reflexology and exotic body wraps on offer, making this the ideal place for an afternoon of exquisite pampering.

On Day 6, you discover more about this vibrant, young metropolis on a half-day tour of the Apartheid Museum. You will be guided through the seven-hectare building, following a path that traces South Africa's footsteps from the dark days of race classification, segregation and eventually Apartheid, through to the advent of democracy in 1994.

Days 7-13: Arrive in Paradise | 7 Nights

Up arrow

Today you fly out from Johannesburg to the north-western coast of Mauritius at Turtle Bay. Arrive at The Oberoi, a luxurious hotel featuring a fully equipped spa and surrounded by beautiful sub-tropical gardens. Boasting a long oceanfront of sparkling blue water, this is the perfect location for scuba diving, snorkelling or wind surfing but it is also ideal for lounging on pristine beaches and enjoying cocktails at the beach bar.
Head off to the Oberoi Spa for hours of utter relaxation as you enjoy traditional Mauritian treatments that use local oils and fruits - the coconut body brush followed by a deep massage with freshly ground coconut is a highly recommended treatment. Unwind in the sauna, steam bath or swimming pool or enjoy the privacy and romance of the private spa suites, each with its own plunge pool. After an invigorating session, you can head off to the restaurant for a delicious meal and a post-dinner stroll on the star-lit beach. The Oberoi, like Singita Ebony Lodge, sets a high standard for every aspect of service and accommodation, allowing you to be pampered in one of the world’s most beautiful spots.
