Itinerary
Day to day
Fly into Nelspruit and collect your rental car before driving to Oliver’s Restaurant and Lodge, located near the stunning Panorama Route. With its aim of leaving you feeling relaxed and fully charged, Oliver’s is an ideal place to go before a safari.
Make sure to take a trip to some of the amazing places on the Panorama Route, like God’s Window and the dramatic Blyde River Canyon. Back at the lodge you can play a round of golf at the White River Golf Course and return for massages and luxurious treatments at the beauty clinic.
Continue this morning to Lion Sands River Lodge, located on the banks of the Sabie River in the southern section of the game-rich Sabi Sands Private Game Reserve, adjoining the Kruger National Park.
The lodge is known for excellent wildlife sightings: it is not uncommon to spot an elephant or giraffe near camp while you are relaxing in a lounger alongside the swimming pool.
This Big 5 conservation area is exclusive to guests of Lion Sands so you will not have crowds of other vehicles when you go on game drives. Between game-viewing activities, you can treat yourself to a session at the lodge health spa or have a workout at the gym.
