  • Enjoy tranquillity at a modern lodge in the hills overlooking Lake Malawi

Overview

Start your 8-day journey to Africa with time in the birthplace of guided walking safaris, the off-the-beaten track South Luangwa. This wild and remote national park is packed with wildlife and is known for endemic species like Crawshay’s zebra and Thornicroft’s giraffe. Enjoy a truly authentic safari experience at an intimate tented camp overlooking a bend in the gorgeous Luangwa River – a magnet for elephants, buffalo, lions, hippos and crocodiles.

Then get whisked away to Africa’s third-largest lake and arguably its most beautiful, Lake Malawi. Filled with the largest number of cichlid species of any lake on Earth, this freshwater body is hugged by trees that resonate with the distinctive calls of African fish eagles. Enjoy sun-kissed days on a powder-soft private beach, or fantastic snorkelling and scuba diving in clear water. Relax your last few days away at a contemporary lodge in the lush hills overlooking the lake, the ideal destination after a thrilling safari in Zambia.
