I could never have imagined Lemala Mpingo Ridge, it is a truly elegant camp. Their facilities and services were impeccable. I have never stayed at any place like this before and don’t know if I will again. What a treat. Our guide was very seasoned and experienced. When he drove us from the airstrip to camp we actually took much longer than he initially stated; I think this is because he saw how excited we were to be seeing wildlife and he was more than happy to show us more. We saw so many animals in those first three hours.
The road transfer from Arusha to Tarangire National Park will take around two and a half hours, while you sit back and enjoy the views of the Tanzanian landscape. Lemala Mpingo Lodge sits on top of an escarpment with beautiful vistas of the Tarangire River and the valley below. Your spacious tented suite has been designed to take full advantage of the views and are the epitome of safari luxury.
Tarangire National Park is a northern safari circuit safari wonderland. You’ll explore this landscape on a full-day safari and become well acquainted with its roaming beasts. The Tarangire bush is scattered with the iconic baobab trees of Africa, massive in size and believed to be up to a thousand years old. Spread among them are herds of elephant and buffalo, often in their hundreds.

By far our FAVORITE vendor. They are just SO GOOD. It's pampering, but in a very local, authentic African style. I know there are even more expensive options, but I can't think of why you would pay more.
