Arusha Coffee Lodge

El Arusha Coffee Lodge era el lugar perfecto para aterrizar. Me alegro mucho de habernos alojado allí. Era tan cómodo, bonito y es un lugar verdaderamente especial. Espero tener la oportunidad de volver a alojarme allí.

Arusha Coffee Lodge was beautiful and was a gem of a place to start our adventure. Even though we had a long travel day, when we arrived we were rejuvenated by the hospitality and beautiful grounds. The lodge we stayed in was gorgeous and we loved what they did for us in regards to our honeymoon. The room was decorated beautifully. As a coffee lover, the coffee was great and it was really cool to stay next to coffee gardens.

Ideally located in close proximity to Arusha Airstrip, Arusha Coffee Lodge offers spacious, luxury rooms complete with fireplaces. Lots of activities, and great a-la carte dining makes this an ideal stop over.

This is a beautiful location. The rooms were lovely and even had the iconic mosquito nets. We really didn't need the nets as we never had any trouble with mosquitoes, but they gave the rooms character. The grounds were very pretty with adorable monkeys climbing around. John tended to us and was so nice, ensuring all of our needs were met. We appreciated his kindness and attentiveness.

Arusha Coffee Lodge is beautiful – sadly we were hardly there for 12 hours so we did not have the chance to enjoy it better but I will remember the breakfast and the shower (WOW).

The coffee plantation tour was really good. At the end they roast fresh coffee for you (and show you the different shades), which was really fun!

A very good lunch. We met Sarah, Tanzania office manager – she seemed disappointed that we had no complaints!

Arusha Coffee Lodge was perfect, beautiful gardens and very relaxing.

The Arusha Coffee Plantation was nice. In some ways, though, after two nights at the crater, we might have preferred to find out way to Selous sooner. I believe the problem was due to schedule the air transfers.

Arusha Coffee House – Picked up by Sylvester at the Airport and he accompanied us through Ngorongoro. The Coffee House was fantastic, wonderful accommodations, food and service. The staff, especially the waiters, were a lot of fun.

A couple more plane rides and a drive, we arrived at the Plantation. The transportation went by smoothly. The private lodging was gorgeous and felt like a luxurious mini cabin minus the kitchen. The property was well maintained and felt very secluded and relaxing even though we were in the city. They had very good lattes and beverages. The food we had for dinner was ok.

Arusha Coffee Plantation. …a very pleasant first night; the huts were spacious, comfortable and attractively furnished with natural wood ambiance. Dinner was excellent, as were breakfast and lunch. A great place to ‘welcome us to Africa'

The trip was AMAZING. We loved Arusha Coffee Lodge – it was unbelievable beyond words.Tanzania exceeded our expectations in so many ways.

From the moment we arrived at Kilimanjaro Airport and were whisked past the queue waiting at passport control I immediately felt we were onto something good. The hotels were all exceptional in their own individual way and to start the trip in the Plantation Suite at the Arusha Coffee Lodge certainly gave us a taster of things to come. An amazing room and a lovely location.

We liked the housing. Good transition for jet lagged people. The game drive in Arusha was great.

All of the campsites and lodges had their own charm, and we thought that the staff in each place were very friendly and helpful to us.

The Arusha Coffee Lodge was a good place to clean up, re-pack, and relax before the flights home.

Our stay at the Arusha Coffee Lodge was wonderful and I am glad we added the extra day as it gave us a chance to rest and relax and to see the Market Place in Arusha. The accommodations, food, wine and service were great and the setting within the coffee plantation was serene. We tasted some great South African wines throughout our trip. I highly recommend this place for beginning a safari.

This was very nice and the food was very good.

This was the most beautiful room. We saw all the animals, had a great guide, Ally was his name. He spotted animals and showed us nice places and we enjoyed his knowledge of the area, animals and people, we laughed alot with him too. The hot air balloon was not so great, we flew pretty low and alot of the ride was over newly burnt ground, so saw maybe a total of 10 animals on the balloon ride. And quite expensive for that! I would only recommend it if the animals are really there en masse, migrating. I know they cannot plan the wind or weather, so you can only go as high as is the correct speed for where you have to land… if that makes sense.

The Arusha Hotel was very nice and the food very good.

Our first night at Arusha Coffee Lodge was great – such a nice hotel.

Arusha Coffee Lodge – had a one-night stay which we both enjoyed and would recommend to others. Great location and a beautiful setting.

It was marvelous. It was just as you said, a very welcome treat after the Safari.

Arusha Coffee Lodge – was a very nice setting. Some of the furnishings in the rooms were not in full working order which was the only disappointing point of the trip. We really liked having the two days of staying in a very nice lodge to rest and clean up between our tented experiences. I like Jonathon, the new manager of the lodge, and I think he will tighten up the operation. The location is excellent. A nice serendipitous event occurred at the lodge. While we sitting by the pool late in the afternoon we noticed that some local ladies were gathering for a Pilates class. We ended up joining the class which was exactly what we needed.

Perfectly adequate, a good base in Arusha.
