Llevo casi una década organizando safaris en Go2Africa y me entusiasma compartir mi experiencia y mi pasión por África. Reflexión de Soulful Safari  

A tough choice, but I would say the day I spent in Makgadikgadi. After a magical safari in Botswana, we spent a few nights at Jack's Camp and woke up early for a meerkat encounter to get up-close and observe their morning routine. I was told to sit very still, which was when the leader of the mob climbed onto my head for a better vantage point. A few babies and other adults then came and nestled up to me too. It was surreal but the excitement continued as we embarked on a walk with a local Khoi San tribe and ended the day biking over vast salt pans, watching the sun set, and eating dinner under the stars.

I had clients travelling after recently losing a loved one who had always wanted to go to Africa but had never realised that dream. I booked them into a lodge in the Masai Mara that has a beautiful Shamba (garden), surprising them with a tree planting ceremony complete with a plaque engraved with their loved one's name.

Lean into the African experience. It will be completely different to other destinations you have visited and can offer much more than the wildlife that may have initially drawn you in. Try different activities on offer, get swept away by the uniqueness of every setting, marvel at the remoteness. Most importantly, get to know the guides and team taking care of you – they’re incredible people with a deep passion and dedication to ensuring your time with them is truly unforgettable.
