At Go2Africa, I actively engage in sustainability initiatives such as the Endangered Wildlife Trust y Greenpop, and independently support the African Sand Dam Foundation, which works toward resource security for rural communities and wildlife in Kenya's water-scarce regions.

One of my treasured repeat travellers formed a deep bond with her guide and the local community during her stay at Serra Cafema, a camp I had recommended in Namibia's remote northern Kunene region, bordering Angola. For her return this year, we went beyond the usual arrangements to coordinate a cross-country journey with the same guide, allowing her to spend a week with his family en route. She ultimately arrived back in northern Namibia with eight fully packed duffel bags from Canada, filled with much-needed supplies for the community. Creating these opportunities for meaningful impact is incredibly rewarding, and the opportunity of designing journeys like these with cherished travellers drives my own sense of purpose and the work I do.
