Overview of Mahali Mzuri

Located in the rolling hills of the Motorogi Conservancy, a private region of the greater Masai Mara ecosystem, Mahali Mzuri is an exclusive, all-inclusive tented safari camp. Working with the local Maasai people, the lodge has not only been designed to leave a minimal environmental footprint but has been strategically placed to offer great game viewing and showcase the area’s stunning scenery.

Begin each day with an exciting game drive in the conservancy. After your return and lunch, relax by the pool or at the spa before embarking on a late afternoon game drive, an activity that usually blends into a spot-lit evening drive. Conclude your day with a delicious meal out on the terrace and under the stars.

Kenya was fantastic, still wake up dreaming I am still there!
Both camps were amazing, Mahali for its wildlife and Segera the accommodation was outstanding, very happy we did not postpone due to the Ebola scare… only downside is the stay was too short…
It rained every day in Mahali but we went on all our drives nevertheless, we were not bothered by the rain and as our guide, Dickson (amazing guide) told us, the animals come out after the rain. One of the things we really appreciated was the morning drive which lasted forever as we did not need to rush back for breakfast as it was served while we were out…
Had too much to eat! The chef, Shane, a South African from Ulusaba, impressed us with his Babotie, Curries, etc.
Segera was different – not as much wildlife but that was made up with the amazing accommodation and staff. We were the only guests, more expected a couple of days after our departure, so were spoilt by all. Saw the near extinct Grevy zebra as well as the Patas monkeys, very lucky we know.
Of course the visit to the elephant orphanage was the cherry on top, very happy we decided to visit and foster elephants even though Chris’s elephant was not there but at Tsavo west but had enough to keep us enthralled 🙂
We had an amazing trip, one of the best holidays, thanks to you, everything worked perfectly.
