Born in Cape Town, South Africa, my travels began at 16 when my family and I spent a year sailing up the South American coast on our yacht. After completing my studies, I worked as a tour guide for two years, travelling through southern and east Africa on mobile camping safaris. I then moved back to Cape Town and guided tours around the city, Winelands and Garden Route for five years before joining Go2Africa in 2006 – where I’ve been an African Safari Expert ever since!

It can be chilly in winter on an open-air game drive at dawn! Pack a woolen beanie, scarf and gloves, along with a warm jacket - your game drive will be far more enjoyable this way!

The Honeymoon suite at Sable Alley in Botswana's Okavango Delta is private and more spacious than the other tented rooms. Ask for it if you are celebrating a special event or wanting a romantic safari!
