The thatched main lodge building at Anabezi Luxury Tented Camp serves as the bar and dining room. Stylishly and elegantly decorated in an eclectic mixture of contemporary and traditional elements, this opens out onto a large timber deck with sun loungers and umbrellas next to the inviting rim-flow pool. In pride of place with the best views of both the Mishuku River bed, flood plain and beyond to the Zambezi is a big pavilion tent, open on all sides, with plenty of comfortable sofas to relax on. Just behind this is a cosy fire pit on a beautifully manicured lawn with contemporary block seating around it.

The Anabezi menu is a fusion of European and African cuisines featuring a variety of fresh ingredients. A continental breakfast is served in the early morning before your game drive, followed by generous buffet lunch on your return. Before the afternoon activity, you will be tempted to indulge in a traditional high tea of scrumptious treats and fresh fruits. Dinner is a sumptuous 3-course affair; served with a selection of fine South African wines either in the conviviality of the dining room or in romantic seclusion on your private deck below the stars.
