Hluhluwe-Imfolozi Game Reserve is home to a rich diversity of wildlife, including the “Big 5”, as well as species such as African wild dog, cheetah and hyena and is one of the oldest reserves in South Africa. Biyela Lodge is also one of the few places in the world where you can see a thriving population of vultures - watch them as they launch to the skies from rocky cliffs.

Luxury Suite

Biyela has luxury stand-alone suites, some of which featuring their own private plunge pools. Each suite takes in the richness and abundance of the surrounding landscape. You’ll be mesmerized by suite doors which open onto private enclosed decks, providing unmatched views of the wildlife that transverse daily down to the river. The suites have 100% cotton linen on emperor or twin beds, spacious bathrooms with indoor and outdoor showers as well as free-standing bathtubs. Each suite is air conditioned and comes with a fully stocked mini bar for convenience and comfort.
