Overview of Chobe Safari Lodge
Perched on the banks of the Chobe River and set right next to the border of Chobe National Park, Chobe Safari Lodge is an exceptionally well-placed accommodation in this legendary big game region. One of the longest-standing lodges on the river, this down-to-earth lodge is a great choice for travellers who want to experience the dramatic wildlife of the Chobe River – where elephants and buffalo crowd the mid-year dry-season river banks in their hundreds if not thousands – and also see ‘the Smoke that Thunders’ at Victoria Falls too.
It is a well-appointed lodge, complete with a swimming pool, bar, restaurant, squash court and spa. Activities on offer include morning and afternoon game drives, sunset boat cruises and day-trips to Victoria Falls in neighbouring Zimbabwe. You can also visit a local village for an insight into life on the river and to learn about the culture and traditions of the area.
Chobe Safari Lodge is a very short drive from Kasane Airport, the regional travel hub, making it convenient to combine with other lodges across Botswana in safari areas such as the Okavango Delta.
