Facilities

After a day of activity, enjoy a refreshing sundowner from the bar, while unwinding on your tent veranda or in the communal lounge area of the mess tent.

Dining

Begin your days with a delicious breakfast, served in the mess tent. For something unique and memorable, enjoy a ‘bonnet breakfast’ on your morning game drive. A bonnet breakfast is prepared on the bonnet of your safari vehicle and served in the heart of the African bush.

Kwihala Camp

'It truly is like visiting family to go back to Kwihala and Tam, Lorenzo and staff did an incredible job of relocating the camp along the Mwagusi after last season's floods. Things were just revving up for the dry season but I was one of three sets o f visitors in early June who have returned several times to Kwihala over the years and truly love the welcoming comfort, excellent food and 'best-in-Ruaha' guiding. (Moli of Kichaka being in a class of his own!). I actually saw six or seven snakes this visit which totally thrilled Michael even though I only got a couple of 'not-so-great' photos. There were elephant visitors at night and the usual night music of owls, jackals, hyena and lion. Each of the six tents were situated for privacy and views but paths were well laid-out for easy walking - quite a labor of brushing gently and carrying sand and gravel!'

I have to say that this was the most luxurious tenting experience I have ever had in my life. I was a little nervous being at the edge of the camp and slept with my whistle in hand after one night of lions roaring quite closely but thoroughly enjoyed 'blending in'.I still don't have words for the awesome game drives, tracking, spotting skills of Pietro/Saidi.
