Set in South Africa’s famous Sabi Sands Private Game Reserve, The Chitwa House is a luxury private villa at Chitwa Chitwa Game Lodge and offers an exclusive Big 5 safari experience to share with family or friends. The villa has a private airstrip situated only minutes away from the villa and features a dedicated ranger and a butler to ensure your stay is both comfortable and personalised.
At The Chitwa House, you set the pace for your safari. You’ll decide when and where you would like to have your meals while your ranger will advise you on the best times for game viewing excursions. Your personal staff will be happy to arrange other activities such as guided bush walks, hot-air ballooning and helicopter rides but you may be happy just to unwind on the deck or cool off in your private pool overlooking one of the largest lakes in the reserve.

The Chitwa House
The spacious Chitwa House consists of two beautifully appointed suites and a lounge/ dining area. The villa accommodates four adults – additional beds can be arranged for those with children – and comes complete with butler service.
General Facilities
The exclusive-use Chitwa House features a generous lounge with satellite TV, dining area, fully stocked mini-bar, tea-and-coffee making facilities, a well-equipped kitchen, and a deck and swimming pool area overlooking the lake. Two luxurious bedrooms are equipped with private decks, outdoors showers and en suite bathrooms. Other services and facilities include a private butler, a dedicated field guide and 4×4 safari vehicle, and the option of a personal chef. You also have access to the gym, spa, boutique and the library with Internet access at the main lodge.

Enjoy private dining on the villa's lake-view deck or in the dining room, prepared by the main lodge kitchen, or by a private chef who will consult with you on your dietary preferences and requirements, and cook meals for you in the fully equipped kitchen. The menu is a blend of African and Mediterranean-inspired dishes and you are invited to pair your meals with South African and imported wines from the lodge cellar. The house has a fully stocked mini-bar, and tea-and-coffee making facilities for your convenience.

Chitwa house accomodation was excellent, well serviced and superb to have lunch on the decking by the pool everyday looking out onto the dam with wildlife wandering by very regularly, Food was very good, Game viewing was excellent, Staff were very good
