Our favourites are midday dips in the swimming pool and rolling up our sleeves to harvest fresh produce straight from the onsite food garden. And if you're visiting with children, they'll delight in the treehouse and outdoor playground that's perfect for the adventurous tyke among you.

Dining

Franschhoek is famous for two things: wine and food. And at Boschendal, you'll have the opportunity to indulge the very best of both. You are spoilt for choice at each mealtime, with four onsite eateries serving a delectable range of dishes prepared from the freshest ingredients.

Start your day off right with a hearty farm breakfast or wholesome lunch at The Deli. The charming restaurant's menu offers all the well-known farm favourites with a few fresh additions sourced straight from the garden.
The Werf Restaurant focuses on contemporary farm-to-table dining that uses only the best available local, seasonal and ethically sourced ingredients. Choose from a sharing plate menu that features produce from the farm, including Black Angus beef, forest reared Duroc pork, as well as vegetables and herbs from the Werf Food Garden. And, naturally, you can expect each meal to be accompanied by one of the many natural and biodynamic wines on offer.

If you're not in the mood to sit down at one of the abovementioned eateries, then opt for a delicious ready-made meal from the Farm Shop and Butchery that can be prepared and enjoyed in the comfort of your kitchenette. Or why not make the most of your scenic location by enjoying a classic Boschendal picnic at Rhone Rose Garden.
