Begin your adventure with a safari in Sabi Sands, a private game-filled reserve adjoining the Kruger National Park. You’ll enjoy excellent Big 5 sightings on a variety of safari activities from day and night drives to guided walks.
Then travel to idyllic Medjumbe Private Island off Mozambique’s Indian Ocean coast for long, lazy days on the beach, soaking up the sunshine. It’s a great snorkelling and scuba diving destination and there’s all the seclusion and privacy you need.

Day to day
On arrival in Johannesburg, board your connecting charter flight to your sensational accommodation – Exeter Dulini in the game-rich Sabi Sands Private Game Reserve. Begin your safari adventure with a massage on your private deck or enjoying a glass of fine wine as you take in the scenery.
Set out on a sunrise game drive in this exclusive reserve, home to the Big 5 and often yielding spectacular sightings of leopard. Head back to camp for lunch and a refreshing dip in the pool during the heat of the day before embarking on an afternoon game drive. Return to camp via an early evening spotlit drive in time for a pre-dinner drink and a delicious meal of contemporary African cuisine.
Return by charter flight to Johannesburg and transfer to D’Oreale Grande at Emperor’s Palace for a night. The complex at the Emperor’s Palace has a wealth of entertainment options for you to enjoy, including a choice of fine restaurants.
Transfer back to the airport for a flight to Pemba on the Mozambique coast where you’ll have just a short air transfer to the idyllic island of Medjumbe. Enjoy a refreshing swim in the warm Indian Ocean before sitting down to a delicious dinner of fresh seafood, served on the outside deck.
Take to the waters around Medjumbe on a number of water-based activities, including wind surfing, water skiing and kayaking. The turquoise waters and dazzling coral reefs offer excellent diving and snorkelling opportunities but there’ll be plenty of time to set out on a sunset dhow cruise, stroll along powder-sand beaches and simply relax on your sun deck.
The morning brings with it your return to Pemba for your scheduled flight back to Johannesburg. Your adventure will end once you arrive in the “City of Gold”.
