On arrival at Ivato International Airport, you will be transferred to Maison Gallieni for your first night in Madagascar. You will acclimate to the tropical region of Madagascar by leisurely strolling through lush gardens or enjoying a refreshing dip in the pool. A first night in an idyllic bed & breakfast is the best way to start your Malagasy travels: perched atop the Faravohitra hill with breathtaking views of the formerly known ‘city of beauty', and the capital of Madagascar, Antananarivo.

After a hearty breakfast, you will be transferred to Mantadia Lodge for your next two nights. Your guide will show you through the ‘old city,’ checking out old Gothic-style cathedrals and the massive Tana's Rova (otherwise known as the Queens' Palace), either by car or on foot. After that, it's a scenic drive to Andasibe. You will have a short stop at Peyrieras Butterfly Farm, where you can see reptiles, bats, crocodiles, and butterflies for a truly exotic vibe. You'll wrap up the day with a quick check-in at Mantadia Lodge and a laid-back moonlit walk through the Mitsinjo Reserve rainforest.

Spend the next day exploring. Kick off with a hike through the Analamazaotra Special Reserve, where you’ll find lemurs and numerous bird species in the lushness of the primary forest. Your guide will highlight the splendour of the Kingdom of Orchids, showcasing vibrant flora exclusive to Madagascar. It's then on to the freshwater Vakano Reserves, and taking a tour of the colourful Andasibe Village, surrounded by alpine architecture, exploring its central market and colonial train station.

After your last breakfast at Mantadia Lodge, you will be transferred back to Ivato International Airport for a charter flight to the Amborodia Airstrip. A 4×4 will pick you up and transport you to your next accommodation, Le Soleil des Tsingy, for a two-night stay.

Your adventure continues with a cool early morning on the Grand Tsingy Hiking Trail, where you’ll explore limestone forests and cross hanging bridges. The scenery reveals one of Madagascar’s most biodiverse regions – Tsingy de Bemaraha Strict Nature Reserve, spanning 85,000 hectares of rainforest and drier ecosystems.

Start your next day early with a pirogue boat tour of the Manambolo River canyon at dawn, offering breathtaking views of gorges and caves. Explore a diverse landscape that includes the Manambolo River canyon, gorges, swamps, forests, and lakes. Follow this with a relaxed stroll through the Small Tsingy labyrinth, using walkways and small bridges.
