Singita Boulders Lodge was perfect from the staff to the setting. The children adored Moses, the Butler. The staff’s friendliness was refreshing!

Great call on Boulders Lodge…we absolutely fell in love the place. Talk about royal treatment. Bill normally does not comment too much on places but he absolutely loved this place. I am so glad you recommended it to us as it had a more natural luxurious feel. We could not think of a single thing they could improve.
Minutes after we checked into our room we heard a loud trumpet sound; we looked out the glass covered wall to see a herd of elephants crossing the river right in front of our place. Talk about a warm welcome! At lunch we saw rhino’s in the field across the river and a Kudu grazing alongside the river. I began to wonder if we needed to go on the evening game drive. We were thrilled that we saw all the animals we wanted to see including a standoff between a cheetah and hyena and a leopard perched on a termite mound waiting to pounce on the warthog hiding inside….and don’t let me forget the 1 week old baby giraffe. I always love a little adventure so when we got stuck crossing the river (with hippos close by) it added a little adrenaline to the mix. We had so much fun laughing about it afterwards whilst enjoying a glass of wine at the sundowner.
All the game drives, food, entertainment, spa and staff was outstanding. Our guide Enos was very knowledgeable and personable and George was an amazing tracker. We felt like we hit the jackpot getting these 2 guys. Clifford our butler (that sounds so rich) was fabulous. He sure knew how to make us feel special.

The safari was the highlight. Singita is spectacular. It’s the best service we have ever had and the safari was even better than we had hoped. Really teriffic.

The food was tops and the last night we were at Singita they surprised us with a fully set table in our room, petals and candles in the bathroom with a drawn bubble bath and champagne. They made a menu just for us and brought dinner to our room so it was very romantic and extremely thoughtful. They did an excellent job and were quite impressed.

And really appreciate the enthusiasm and knowledge shown by Lisa. We enjoyed the opportunity to mountain bike and liked the fact the lodge moved the evening meal to different locations.

Our next stop wes Lebombo. We loved it there. Even though the room was nicer at Boulders. The level of service and the food and the animal viewing were superior at Lebombo. But all told, It was a wonderful time and we cannot thank you enough. We will definitely recommend you to our friends and relatives. It definitely exceeded our expectations.

Yes the best was left to the last. Words are difficult to find to clearly express our views. Everything about our stay at Singita Boulders Lodge was outstanding. It was a very difficult departure as you just didn’t want it to end. Although we had heard lots about safari stays, you have to be there and experience it yourself to fully understand the sights and the emotions you feel. We had three male lions stroll past our vehicle, literally 2 feet fro where we were sitting. How do you describe that experience. We saw the big 5 and we saw a lot of different animals and birds. We saw herds of animals, Parked the vehicle in the middle of a pride of lions (twice). Although it gave us some anxious moments, it’s something that we will never forget.. The facilities in our accomodation and the views especially were out of this world. Everything was so well organized.

I would have to say that Singita was by far the best part of our trip. That place is amazing and truly an experience you can only realize once you are there.

We actually had lower expectations for animal viewing here, but we did see the big 5 within the first few drives. They surprised us with a special dinner in our room, and surprised again with a special dinner out on the runway. The wine tasting was also great. I can see how only 3 nights would have been sufficient since by the 4th day we had already seen most of the animals, but we were just so happy here.
