The best place to be was Londolozi : the lodge was great. The Safari -Trip special, adventurous and very interesting. We had a surprising breakfast in the bush and great evenings together with the staff or other guests. We will never forget this trip to South Africa! Thanks a lot for your efforts.

Thanks to you and Go2Africa we had the best vacation ever. The Cape Grace hotel was very welcoming and comfortable, of course the Londolozi Camp and animal drives was the most exciting. Our guide Telley Smith was outstanding, articulate, knowledgeable, and good with people. Your arrangements timing and personal care helped the most.

Londolozi was the highlight of the honeymoon. We have been fortunate to travel quite a bit, and the level of service provided here surpassed anything we have ever experienced. It went beyond service, they made us feel part of the family. It is a truly special place, and we would love to return there. Of the various camps, we are so happy we choose Tree Camp. It was small enough to make it very personal (only 12 people), but also gave us the opportunity to get to meet and chat with other travelers. And the rooms were truly luxurious. The game viewing was also unbelievable. It was also appreciated that they minimized the number of people to 6 per truck – which helped to make the experience so much more intimate. I would also highlight to future guests that Londolozi offers complimentary laundry and also allows guests to rent camera equipment (lenses, and tripods) – both useful when trying to pack efficiently for such a trip.

It was the trip of a lifetime and we hope to do it again. All of your arrangements were excellent. Your choice of lodges was perfect. We loved both Shumbalala (Allen’s favorite) and Londolozi (Helen’s favorite). The rooms at Londolozi were the most luxurious and spacious we have ever had, almost too spacious for us and not as cozy, but no complaints. Allen loved the outdoor showers at both places. The food at Shumbalala, prepared by Lynn, was stupendous. It was also very delicious at Londololozi but Lynn really outdid herself. She met with all of us every day to tailor the meals and snacks to our requests.
Londolozi had wide open spaces and a greater variety of vegetation that was beginning to turn brownish. Thus, at Londolozi game viewing was generally easier. The variety of game we saw was stupendous, not to mention the birdlife which surprised us and especially delighted Allen. We saw lions (males, females and cubs), elephants, giraffe, wilderbeast, warthogs, impala, rhinoceros (white and black), water buffalo, hippos, and African wild dogs in abundance. We saw animals we did not even know existed. We saw three leopards, two at close range (at Londolozi which we learned was the more likely place as they had more of them). We saw two cheetah kills, one at each lodge, the second from start to finish and with two cubs in tow. Our guides, Wiehan at Shumbalala and James at Londolozi, were incredibly knowledgeable, articulate and interesting. Our trackers, Palance at Shumbalala, and Mike at Londolozi, pointed the way to some incredible sightings. We felt we were not only tracking and seeing beautiful animals but also learning a lot about them, almost like hunting.
Our guides’ command of the vehicles and knowledge of the animals meant we always felt safe. All of our senses were in play and our minds were thoroughly engaged. We had many photo opportunities, often going off road to pursue lions, African wild dogs, a cheetah kill, or a leopard. We grew accustomed to the routine at the lodges, even getting up at 5:30 am, and miss it even now, especially the feeling of excitement when you mount the Land Rover in the morning at what you might see in the glorious sunrise. In short, we are quite hooked.

Particularly I would say that staying at Ulusaba Rock Lodge, followed by Londolozi was fantastic and staying at them in that order also seemed to be the most appropriate way to do things as the more group atmosphere of Ulusaba was a great start followed up by the more private nature of Londolozi.

Londolozi was exceptional. Callie, the manageress really went to a lot of effort on our behalf. We were upgraded to Tree Camp and put in an absolutely stunning villa. They could not have done more to make our stay any more memorable. That place knows how to treat customers and I am going to write a letter of thanks to them this weekend.

The trip was absolutely wonderful! The properties of Kensington Place, Baines Camp, Chobe Chilwero and Londolozi Tree Camp were absolutely 100% fantastic. We loved our accomodations and would highly recommend these camps/lodges/hotels to others. I can’t say enough positive things about the rooms and the staff.
