Overview of Gibb’s Farm

Gibb’s Farm is situated against the forested slopes of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, and offers a warm and friendly place to experience farm life at its best. Ideal for taking a break from your African safari, Gibb’s Farm retains its historic charm and provides a welcoming retreat on a working farm.

Visit the working coffee plantation, dairy farm and piggery, and perhaps enjoy an interactive experience as you lend a hand in milking the cows, feeding the pigs or joining the farm’s coffee roasters to experience traditional coffee roasting methods. Stroll through the old farmyard, the flower and vegetable garden, or head further out for a guided forest walk to discover a seasonal waterfall and mystical elephant caves. You can even enjoy a guided walk up to the rim of the renowned Ngorongoro Crater. Visit the variety of community projects and initiatives to learn more about rural living in Tanzania.
