A sophisticated retreat with spectacular views, Jabali Ridge makes a good claim as one of the most luxurious lodges in the Ruaha National Park. Set on the banks of the Mwagusi River in the northern area of the park, Jabali Ridge is well-placed to explore one of the least visited but most exciting conservation areas in Tanzania – Ruaha is known for its concentrations of elephants and buffalo as well as predators such as lion and leopard.
Jabali Ridge features luxury suites including a family house (children from 5 years are welcome) and an infinity swimming pool, spa and Wi-Fi access. It is a modern lodge with large living and socializing areas as well as pleasing artwork and decor details.
Morning and afternoon game drives in open-sided 4X4s led by professional guides take you into the heart of the wildlife action, searching the dry riverbeds and open plains for predators and their prey. You will have the opportunity to go on spot-lit night drives, too, and can also lace up your boots and enjoy a nature walk with your guide and a park ranger.

Suite
Each of Jabali’s suites makes the most of its hilltop location to offer wonderful views at almost every turn, not least from its own private outdoor lounge.
Rooms are en suite with flushing toilet and indoor rain shower as well as an outdoor shower and come with either king-sized or twin bed options. You have a safe in your room, electric lighting and battery recharging points, as well as Wi-Fi access.
General Facilities
Jabali Ridge is predominantly an open camp, its low walls and open-sides allowing for cooling breezes and an informal safari atmosphere. There is a lounge and bar at the main camp plus inside and outside dining areas; the camp also offers an infinity pool, a spa and plenty of space to catch some sun or seek a bit of shade, whichever you prefer.

All meals are part of the tariff at Jabali Ridge as are your drinks except cellar wines, premium spirits and champagne. In the dining area, breakfasts and light lunches can be enjoyed, and in the evening, there is a delectable, gourmet three-course supper menu under the stars. Meals are served at the main camp but individual tables are available on request as are bush picnics – your chance to enjoy a traditional meal away from camp or a packed lunch for a full-day game drive in Ruaha.
Your day begins with an early wake-up call served with tea, coffee and biscuits. You can have breakfast before you leave for your morning drive or wait until you return to camp at midmorning. There will be lunch as well as afternoon tea to look forward to, and the day ends with sunset drinks on your game drive followed by drinks and dinner back at camp, served inside or under the stars.
