You can explore the expansive Lake Kariba and its abundant wildlife aboard the luxurious Matusadona Lake Cruiser, a fully equipped house boat with a crew of four. Located on the border between Zambia and Zimbabwe, Lake Kariba attracts a vast array of wildlife to its banks including lion, elephant, rhino, leopard and cheetah. Plan a tailor-made itinerary with the crew manager and dock each day at your pick of tranquil and scenic locations.
The Matusadona accommodates up to six guests comfortably, making it ideal for intimate family and group holidays. Start the day in the fresh morning air with a lavish alfresco breakfast before setting off to your next destination. Cool off in the open-air Jacuzzi and enjoy the view as you cover great distances across captivating landscapes. Once moored, Kariba's many islands and river tributaries can be explored on a speed boat, or try your hand at angling for bream and tiger fish. Set out on a pontoon to observe splashing elephants at the waterside, or witness the region's fiery sunsets on a tranquil evening cruise.

Exclusive Use
The three stylish and comfortable guest cabins are surprisingly spacious, each featuring an en suite bathroom and a queen-sized bed. The cabins offer classic elegance with African hardwood finishes, authentic woven furniture and Egyptian cotton bedding. Located on the lower deck, the cabin accommodation is right along the waterline – a tranquil spot to drift off to gently lapping waves and the occasional grunting hippo.
General Facilities
The Matusadona is best suited for up to six adults and comprises three spacious decks for living, leisure and dining. The spacious upper deck has an open-plan outdoor entertainment area with living and dining space, bar and an outdoor Jacuzzi. The middle deck houses the galley, alfresco breakfast area, and an indoor saloon with a dining area, coffee station and lounge with a television, DVD player, sound system, board games and a small library. The lower deck is accessed from an indoor staircase and comprises the accommodation cabins. The Matusadona is followed by a speed boat for transfers, cruises and angling, and a pontoon for tranquil water-based game viewing. You are accompanied by four dedicated crew members to ensure all your requirements for an unforgettable Kariba cruise are fulfilled.

Meal times can be customised to your preferred schedule but typically the day starts with baked goods, tea and coffee before the morning activity, followed by a full brunch at mid-morning. Afternoon tea consists of both sweet and savoury snacks, and dinner is served at about 7pm. Guests are invited to share any dietary requirements or preferences before departure.
