Overview of Chikoko Tree Camp
Chikoko Tree Camp is a secluded, thatched bush camp situated on the banks of the Luangwa River. Located deep in the heart of South Luangwa’s northern region, this remote camp is one of Tafika’s walking safari bush camps, and is not accessible by roads.
Embark on a morning or afternoon walk led by expert guides and armed National Parks scouts where you will follow winding animal footpaths.
The walking areas are free of vehicles and roads, ensuring a true wilderness experience. The area is home to not only a vast number of animals, but over 400 bird species as well. The best place to do some bird watching is on the banks of the Luangwa River.
