Mowani – for sheer outstanding architectural beauty and a place to watch the sun go down (with a drink) this takes a lot of beating. Add in mountain elephants that virtually ignored you and the coldest plunge pool with the best view I have every used, it was pretty mind blowing. (and friendly!)

Mowani was spectacular. We managed to see two herds of desert elephants. The scenery is spectacular!

The Mowani Mountain Camp was absolutely fantastic!

We didn’t stay in the morning and left for the mountain camp which was brilliant!!! would go back in a flash and it was beautiful. They landscape and surrounding areas were so interesting, really great hosts and a wonderful way to end the trip. They sent box lunches with us on our drive back to Windoek, so that was great.

We had great time in Mowani and in Wolwedans. The tented camp was excellent. All people that we meet were very professional and very gentle with us.

It was stunning, really special – favourite place. Fantastic staff, excellent service (the best from anywhere), good food, everything quality, best sundowners overlooking the valley on top of the boulder. Did you tell them we were on our ‘honeymoon’? 🙂 We got that lovely honeymoon tent with the stunning bathroom, on the second night they set our table outside under the stars!

It was quite an amazing place hidden away in the mountains, perfectly blending in with the scenery but so luxurious! I think to do full justice to it we needed to spend more than one night there.

Mowani Mountain Lodge was absolute magic. The setting is magnificent, the rooms spectacular and the staff outstanding. Activites including successful tracking of desert elephant and hiking tours were excellent. My highest recommendation for them.

What a shame we could only get one night in here – probably the best lodge we stayed at – fantastic views and brilliant sunset amongst the red granite boulders. We also had a good safari drive here tracking and finding the Desert Elephants and also saw Cheetah (with cubs) but unfortunately could not get close enough for good photos.
