Just an hour from Mombasa, the undiscovered beaches of Diani stretch out for miles, inviting you to explore colourful reefs and shimmering white-sand beaches. Alfajiri Beach Villa is the perfect place for you and your family to unwind after the excitement of an East African safari – simply sit back and enjoy the sounds of the shoreline while a dedicated staff ensure all the details are taken care of.

The Beach Villa is furnished with pieces from India, Morocco and various African countries, and is surrounded by lush palm gardens just metres from the beach. The dedicated staff include butlers, chefs, childminders, a driver and even a masseuse for daily massages. You will also receive personal care from your hosts, who are the owners of the villas, and will arrange all of your requests and activities.

If you're feeling energetic there is kite surfing, deep sea fishing, snorkelling, diving and excursions to Kisite Marine National Park in traditional dhow sailing boats. On land, you can search for forest elephants in the Shimba Hills, go quad-biking, or enjoy the nearby 18-hole course.

Alfajiri is committed to the protection of biodiversity and strengthening livelihoods. They have partnered with organisations committed to the protection of Kenya's marine environment and preservation of primates, together with a local charity to safeguard children's rights. Each guest staying at Alfajiri contributes to the foundation by donating US$ 10 per adult per night and US$ 5 per teenager/child per night. This has been set up to annually support the Diani Turtle Watch, Reefolution, Germano Chincherini Foundation, and Colobus Trust. Guests are welcome to make larger donations if they wish, as well as visit the organisations through their active programs.

Beach Villa

The villa has two double rooms on the ground floor and a twin room on the first floor – all with air conditioning and mosquito nets. A fourth bedroom with twin beds is equipped with a ceiling fan and mosquito net.

General Facilities

Adorned with hardwood floors and furnishings, and a high ceiling of traditionally thatched roofing, Alfajiri Beach Villa is both authentic and luxurious. The open-sided living spaces welcome in a fresh sea breeze and ocean vistas, while the spacious veranda and large swimming pool bends seamlessly with the Indian Ocean waters beyond.

Guests will have the opportunity to consult with the hosts to develop their preferred daily menu and meal times. Fresh seafood includes the day’s best catch of shellfish, yellowfin tuna, dorado and snapper. Fresh vegetables and tropical fruits come to the resort daily from local farms. The Mediterranean-style cooking is complimented with a good selection of South African and South American wines.
