Overview of Camp Okuti
Situated next to Xakanaxa Lagoon in a famously rewarding area of Botswana’s Moremi Game Reserve, Camp Okuti offers a fabulous retreat in a classic wildlife sanctuary where the peaceful surroundings will relax you as much as the dramatic game viewing will thrill you. It’s a year-round destination set on the fringes of the Okavango Delta and makes for a perfect safari for first-time visitors to Botswana.
Enjoy exciting morning and afternoon game drives in a specially designed safari vehicle, allowing for close encounters with the area’s abundant big game and numerous other animals. You will also cruise across deep lagoons and along winding reed-lined channels by motorboat, perhaps visiting a huge heron and stork breeding site. Alternatively, set out on a fly or spin-fishing excursion along the edge of Xakanaxa Lagoon, or simply relax on the communal deck watch the wildlife go by.
