This Crusoe-chic hotel is situated on Tsarabanjina, a pristine islet in north-western Madagascar’s Mitsio Archipelago. This sacred islet is fringed by three powder-soft beaches and lush tropical vegetation, encircled by rich coral reefs. Bathed in sunshine almost 365 days a year, Constance Tsarabanjina’s private villas offer guests an unsurpassed barefoot luxury experience in a sequestered, eco-friendly retreat surrounded by sapphire blue waters.
Tsarabanjina overlooks the mythical Les Quatre Frères (The Four Brothers), four islets of silver basalt rocks. It is a renowned scuba-diving location and known for the large flocks of seabirds that build their nests on three of the four islets. Legend has it that the gods sent five brothers to Mitsio. One of them got so angry with three of the others that he decided to leave. The fourth brother, who loved the fifth very much, was so heartbroken by his departure that he pined away from heartache. It is for this reason that birds do not nest on one of the rocks.
Discover Tsarabanjina’s unique biodiversity on guided nature walks or grab a snorkel, a mask and a pair of flippers to explore the world beneath the turquoise waters. If you prefer staying above the surface, hop on a catamaran or kayak – at your disposal on the pristine beach. Optional scuba diving and boat excursions are available, as well as sports fishing trips to catch your own dinner!
Engage all your senses in this serene location of virgin beaches, crystal-clear water and unrivalled natural beauty.
