Etosha Mountain Lodge is perfectly perched against a dolomite hill in a land of endless horizons, vast savannah grasslands, great herds of elephant, and endangered black rhino. Situated in the heart of Etosha Heights – Namibia's biggest private game reserve – the lodge overlooks the stunning desert-scapes of this unspoilt wildlife conservation area on the south-western border of the iconic Etosha National Park.

Go out on morning and afternoon game drives in a pristine wilderness area of about 150 000 acres in search of elephant, big cats, and endangered rhino – the icons of the area. And because Etosha Heights is a private reserve, you are able to head out on foot to track wildlife and enjoy exciting spot-lit night game drives far away from the tourist crowds. Or simply unwind with a refreshing drink in hand while enjoying the action at the waterhole right in front of camp.

Etosha Mountain Lodge was the first lodge to be built in Etosha Heights and was designed specifically for private groups. Tranquillity and solitude come standard at this superb lodge, a fantastic place to reconnect with nature and escape from modern life.

Classic Room

Etosha Mountain Lodge’s thatched chalets are spacious and comfortable, offering superb privacy and panoramic vistas from large wooden viewing decks. Electronic safes, tea-and-coffee stations, fridges and ceiling fans are standard comforts, while all bathrooms are en suite.

A thatched main area is at the heart of Etosha Mountain Lodge, comprising a restaurant and bar, a reading lounge, and a cosy indoor fireplace. An outdoor boma and braai area provides a comfortable stage for swapping safari stories and alfresco dining. The lodge also has a swimming pool, a welcome respite from the African warmth. No matter where you decide to unwind, the dramatic skies, vast plains, and wandering wildlife demand that you always have your camera to hand.
