The camp is located in the Sinya concession bordering Kenya and the Amboseli National Park. This small, intimate camp is ideal for those looking for a private, authentic safari experience.

Apart from seeing Mount Kilimanjaro, you will also enjoy beautiful views of Mount Meru and the vast African savannah around you. These semi-arid lands of Sinya and Elerai are home to some of the largest elephants in East Africa and you will spot them and many other incredible animals. Visit a traditional Maasai village for a cultural interaction, or head out on a walking safari in the company of a Maasai warrior.

Standard Tent

The 14 luxury safari tents are connected by raised walkways and situated just far enough away from each other to ensure your complete privacy. All of the tents offer exceptional views, some overlooking the Amboseli plains and others offering spectacular views of Kilimanjaro.

Each tent is fitted with either a large king-sized bed or twins, and has an en suite bathroom with built-in shower. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and have one side that can roll away to afford you with uninterrupted views.

Each tent also has a private verandah where you can relax in the morning with your coffee or in the afternoon with a drink.

You will find many sun decks scattered around the camp, giving you various places to relax and drink in your surroundings.

The well-stocked bar is a great place to enjoy a hot or cold drink as you enjoy the view at the end of a busy day.

At Kambi ya Tembo, guests can enjoy relaxed and cosy dining, with meals served indoors in the tented dining room, or outdoors around the fire.

Sit down to a full English breakfast with fresh bread, and eggs made to order. Enjoy lunch in the early afternoon and snacks. In the evening, you'll return to a hearty meal around the campfire or in the dining area, accompanied by local wines.

You can also arrange to enjoy bush picnics for lunch, for a truly memorable experience.
