Narina was an exceptional lodge and we would go back “in a heartbeat”. The staff at Narina were so impressive and the meals were outstanding! Every night there was a special event, whether it was dinner in the Boma, a romantic dinner in our room, etc . The tree house experience was a fun evening! Dinner on the deck overlooking the river and some hippos in the distance added to the fun. Our guide, Joe, and tracker, Jabulani, made the safari an experience of a lifetime. They made the difference in creating the best safari we could ever imagine.

So the room at Lion Sands was insane... not even the treehouse... but the room that we had as a backup room for the night. Probably the best room we've ever had, and we didn't even get to sleep in it :) Lion Sands is definitely a top class place. We were driven to the treehouse and it completely blew our minds. Completely! It was stunning. We watched the sun go down, drank bubbles, and had a nice dinner. We couldn't have picked a better night... it was a full moon. Everything was lit up all night from the full moon. We saw bushbok's all over and heard leopards nearby. The bushboks were barking so we knew the leopards were close. Unfortunately I think I fell asleep too quickly. We were back in the element of sleeping outside (like the tents) and it was incredible. I woke up a few times to see where the moon had adjusted to in the sky. Finally it was sunrise which was beautiful.

"We can say without hesitation that our experience at Narina was simply first rate. The next time we come to Africa, we would very much like to have a few more days on safari as well as spend at least a few more days in Seychelles."

"Tinga Narina was fabulous – we saw the big 5 the first day. The staff were great – food was delicious – only small complaint was that there were issues with water a few times to our room – nothing that we could not live with."

"Tinga Narina was unbelievable. The grounds are fantastic - elephants came right to our deck daily! The food was plentiful and terrific."
