Tucked into a wooded hillside, this sheltered lodge is located in Black Rhino Reserve, a private concession in the malaria-free Pilanesberg National Park. A couple of hours’ drive from Johannesburg and a stone’s throw from the renowned Sun City resort, Pilanesberg is home to over 7 000 animals – including the Big Five, over 350 bird species, rare black rhino and African wild dog.
