LUX* Le Morne is an exceptional luxury resort set in a lush tropical garden along the Le Morne peninsula lagoon on the Mauritius south-west coast. Offering spectacular views and an authentic Mauritian experience, this unique luxury resort is the ideal retreat for an idyllic island getaway.
The long white sandy beach is dotted with sun umbrellas, while the many swimming pools overlook the lagoon with its coral reefs and turquoise waters that perfect for water sports; windsurfing, snorkelling, kayaking, scuba diving, sailing and waterskiing are all available. Relax and indulge in some pampering at the LUX* Me Spa, sip on a delicious cocktail and dine in style at one of the resort’s many restaurants.
The west coast is obviously the best place to see the island’s sensational sunsets – ideally from the unique ‘floating lounge’ boat, where you will be served by your own private butler.

‘Mauritius was great, totally beautiful and relaxing – after being in the city, the wine country and the safari we did need to relax. It was like three trips rolled into one and was the perfect balance of everything we wanted.’
Lux Le Morne: The island of Mauritius is beautiful and we really enjoyed our stay at the Lux. The woman in charge, Manie was the exception as she was wonderful and took care of us; even walked us out to the car to say goodbye. The spa treatments at Lux were top notch, as was the pool/beach facilities. There were two pools on different ends of the resort so the pool or beach never felt crowded. They have ipads in the room that are a great idea and meant to make things easier.
We had an upgrade to a Junior suite as we were on our honeymoon which was a really lovely surprise! We had amazing food at Les Pavillions. Obergine was by far the best. I would fully encourage anyone to use the all inclusive luxury package as drinks and food there are very expensive and the all-inclusive package really paid off.
