Overview of Masoala Forest Lodge
Masoala Forest Lodge is best described as a ‘castaway retreat’. Set in Madagascar’s Masoala National Park, this lodge is only accessible by boat or foot (over several days through dense rainforest), making it the perfect escape from the modern world.
Promising barefoot luxury on a tropical island paradise, Masoala Forest Lodge offers comfortable accommodation that blends harmoniously into the natural environment. Each room is a stone’s throw away from the pristine, private beach, with the lush, wildlife-rich rainforest as your backdrop. Two communal areas provide the perfect vantage point from which to enjoy the breath-taking scenery and to simply let yourself relax.
There’s a ton to do and see during your stay at Masoala, from water-based activities and exploring the rainforests to napping in a hammock as the ocean lulls you to sleep. Snorkelling, kayaking, forest walks, night walks and whale watching are just a few of the adventures you can enjoy – all designed to connect you to nature and her many splendours.
