Separate from the main lodge, this private camp is perfect for a group of friends or a large family who are looking for an intimate, private safari experience with modern comforts.

Enjoy fantastic guided game drives in your private safari vehicle or embark on a nature walk with your professional ranger: it is serious big game country and you will be searching for wild dogs, lions and cheetahs as well as all the classic African animals such as zebra, crocodile and hippo. Sit back and relax between activities on the large terrace with a good book or on a sun lounger at the plunge pool.

    Motswari was INCREDIBLE! Truly, I didn’t want to leave. The Geiger Camp is such a terrific experience as it’s so small & intimate. It set such a high bar that I have to keep reminding myself the other accommodations are just different experiences. Saw so many animals but the leopard remained elusive.

    Geiger Camp in Timbavati is to be recommended without hesitation: the warm, friendly welcome from all the staff, the rustic yet comfortable and well-appointed chalets, the delicious food with very good variety, quality and presentation. The game drives were the best and the guide Richard very knowledgeable and accommodating. Five-star rating, with no doubt. We should have stayed there the whole time. Daily plan: wake up at 5.15am depart at 6am, return between 9am and 9:30am when breakfast is served. High tea ( abundant and should be called lunch) is served at 2:30pm. Afternoon game drive from 3.30pm to 7pm with a 20-minute stop at sunset.
