Situated on the eastern outskirts of Namibia’s Etosha National Park, Mushara Lodge is a stylish and well-located base for visiting the park. The lodge's rolling lawns are kept manicured by visiting warthogs and antelope species that roam free around the chalets, offering a uniquely African experience! The spacious and beautifully decorated rooms and chalets are laid out in a horseshoe shape around the swimming pool.A thatched public area is the perfect place to chat with other guests, enjoy a drink or just sit back and bury yourself in a good book.

Venture into Etosha National Park on professionally guided morning and afternoon games drives, or if you’re on a self-drive safari, explore the park under your own steam. Etosha is justly famous for both its density and variety of wildlife and provides a great mix of familiar savannah species and desert specialists. All the big cats are present, black rhino relatively common and the bird watching, especially in summer, is excellent.

The thatched main lodge is decorated in a chic and modern safari style and includes a small library, a bar with an extensive wine cellar, a dining area, and a stylish lounge complete with welcoming fireplace for winter evenings. All rooms lead out onto a covered terrace. The large swimming pool is the focus of the grounds and an ideal place to spend a hot African afternoon before finding a reminder of your trip in the little curio shop.

Breakfast is an extensive buffet, whereas lunch and dinner follow a set menu and are accompanied by a selection of excellent South African wines from the wine cellar.
