Radisson Collection Hotel Waterfront

Wanted to mention so you know for other clients the Raddison was very pretty , wonderful staff and breakfast. The rooms however were not desirable. They were dark , dirty and the air conditioning was a problem in two of the rooms . It did not effect our trip in a negative but thought you should know.

What an excellent hotel! Great location, great people, excellent buffet, value for money. Beautiful city!

A quick 5-minute walk to the V&A Waterfront, this 5 Star Hotel offers excellent service and a modern retreat in one of the most sought-after locations in the world.

The Radisson Blu hotel was lovely; we actually prefered it to the last one we used. The room was nice and large, we had a great view from the bedroom across the marina towards the waterfront centre.

The Radisson Blu Waterfront in Cape Town was really good, and they had a business class sea-facing room ready for us. The breakfast buffet was excellent, and the service was very good. We ate lunch at Tobago's a couple of times – the location by the water is excellent. So we would definitely stay at the Radisson again.

Great room – our room was not ready when we arrived so they gave us a harbour view room which was the same as what you had booked just a different view. Great roomy accommodation. The bed was short tho!!! Dave’s feet hung over the end which was really strange for a kingsize bed. Paul – the guest relations manager tried to find a longer one but they didn’t have any. Paul was fabulous – he put champagne and nibbles in our room twice during our stay and had rose petals put on our bed the first night along with the towels folder like swans. The restaurant and bar staff were fabulous and remembered what you, ate and drank. Fantastic service. Shuttle to V & A was great.

The Radisson Blu was the perfect hotel due to location, location, location…. It was close enough to the bustling Waterfront but far enough that we would not be bothered by the noise and pace around the Waterfront. We had a business class, sea facing room, with hard wood floors that I loved. The room loosely resembled a ship, complete with a round widow reminiscent of a port hole. Notwithstanding, it had all the modern amenities (the shower was great!) Our room felt like we were sitting directly on the ocean. The sound of the waves and the moonlight each evening provided a romantic back drop.

The Radisson was a very convenient location for us – nice room, fantastic views.

The Radisson Blu was just as I remembered, excellent, and once again the staff were extremely willing to help in any way possible.

The Radisson in Cape Town was good, more business-type but was all we needed because we were out eating and shopping most of the time! Location was good and the shuttle service was very handy.

The Radisson was a keeper in a wonderful spot right on the water within walking distance of the Waterfront.

We had an awesome time… Overall was a great trip. Really enjoyed it. Loved the Radisson, loved the tours….

I had a spectacular time in Cape Town and Stellenbosch. Thank you for everything. Accommodations and tours were excellent.

The stay in Cape Town was very nice and a great place to begin the holiday; Radisson is centrally located; the rooms and view were quite nice and the staff very friendly and helpful. It was a nice way to begin the holiday and the sequence of Cape Town first and the safari portion later made a lot of sense.

Radisson Blu is having some renovation done to some of the rooms so it got quite noisy in the day. Fortunately we were out sightseeing most of the time. But it has a gorgeous view and the sound of the waves and the breathtaking sunrise and sunset make up for the disturbance.

Everyone loved it.

It was above our expectations and convenient for the Waterfront. We saw the Cape Point, wine country and Knysna. People everywhere were very friendly and helpful. The meals and accommodations were always high quality. The weather was cooler and rainier than we expected, but it didn’t keep us from having a wonderful time.

Our room was absolutely gorgeous and again we really loved being able to sit out and listen to the waves crashing.

The Radisson in Cape Town was just a fantastic hotel. It was worth spending the extra money to upgrade to sea view business class. Wonderful views of the ocean. There was a shuttle to the V&A every hour until 11:15 at night. During the first 3 days when it rained I spent a lot of time looking around the V&A, eating and drinking. Great location!!! Was able to visit the aquarium during the rainy days. The last 2 days were super with the wine tour on Wednesday and finally able take the cable car up to the top of Table Mountain on Thursday. I postponed the peninsula tour until Thursday, also.

It wasn’t that great — especially for the money

We really liked the area around the waterfront – lovely restaurants – the only draw back with the Radisson is the swimming pool – not suitable as too near the sea and all sea gulls use it too so if someone specifically wanted a swimming pool I would not recommend the Radisson.

The Radisson in Cape Town was LOVELY!

The Raddisson in Cape Town was a great hotel. The Bus class room was perfect for us and the kids. Good staff and fantastic location with good restaurant and easy parking. Next time i’m Cape Town i’ll use that hotel again.

This was an excellent choice, meals service and location were all first class.

The room was perfect – top floor with a great view. When I first checked in I was surprised to discover that it wasn’t actually in the Waterfront complex, but it was fine as they had a regular minibus going over there every hour.

We got upgraded to a business class room at the Radisson in Cape Town and had no problem with our voucher there. The room was large, spacious, and clean. We had a nice view of both Table Mountain and the V&A Waterfront from our balcony. The concierge helped us plan our daily activities and gave us advice on where to eat. The hotel offered a shuttle service (for free to the V&A Waterfront and for a reasonable price elsewhere in Cape Town), which we used. The breakfast buffet was excellent. We were definitely happy with the hotel.

It was perfect, the room was lovely and we had an amazing view of the ocean, we took a stroll down the V&A Waterfront on our first day and sat and listened to all the bands playing.

It was fantastic, the staff were incredibly friendly and the rooms spacious (business class rooms).

We hired a car for three days and drove down to Cape Point via Chapmans Peak and Boulders Beach a nice sunny day.
The next day drove to Hermanus to see the whales, again a nice day the scenery along the routes was stunning.
The next day it rained and we went shopping for gifts.
After putting off visiting Table Mountain until end of week we thought the weather would not clear but on Thursday afternoon the weather was sunny so we took the open bus and after an interesting tour through Cape Town itself we got off at the Mountain and took the Cable Car, the views and experience were great.

It was absolutely brilliant. Thank you so much for that amazing room, The sea view each morning, wow! And we could also see Table mountain! Great time, great food, great hospitality, loved it.

WOW I can’t stop thinking about it SIMPLY AMAZING.
