Overview of Rra Dinare

Botswana, Okavango Delta

Situated in a private concession that shares an unfenced border with the Moremi Game Reserve in Botswana's sprawling Okavango Delta, Rra Dinare lives up to its name— ‘dinare' translating to ‘many buffalo'—as these iconic animals can often be sighted in herds, congregating around lush grasses and water channels. Other notable Big Five members include lions, elephants, and zebras, which are frequently found scattered across the reserve's diverse landscapes, from riverine forests to the Delta's verdant floodplains.

The camp offers a classic safari retreat elevated by luxury amenities, with dedicated game drives and walking safaris, all within the exclusivity of a private reserve. You'll have the option to upgrade your stay to include a scenic flight with aerial views over the expansive Okavango. When water levels allow, mokoro excursions provide a soothing alternative to game drives, where you'll spot an abundance of birdlife thriving in this delicate ecosystem.

The lodge is ideal for avid nature lovers, offering families and friends a classic African safari with eco-friendly facilities and diverse outdoor adventures. The guides and trackers are well-versed in off-roading, bringing you closer to iconic sightings. Special bush activities and mealtimes can be tailored for little ones, while family-friendly game drives require special bookings.
