Sediba Sa Rona
Set on the northeastern edge of Botswana's Okavango Delta, within the Khwai Concession, Sediba Sa Rona is perfectly placed to offer the best of both land and water-based safaris. Here, sweeping grasslands give way to glistening floodplains and dense Mopane forests, creating an extraordinary variety of habitats that support an exceptional range of wildlife. This diversity makes every day on safari different, from tracking big cats across dry savanna to gliding silently through reed-fringed channels in a traditional mokoro (traditional dug out canoe).
The lodge itself is spacious, serene, and beautifully considered—its architectural style blending effortlessly with the wild surroundings while offering all the comforts of a high-end safari retreat. Guests can unwind on expansive decks overlooking the river, soak in the ever-changing scenery from plush lounges, or retreat to elegant suites that celebrate natural textures and open spaces. The variety of landscapes around Sediba Sa Rona means the activity offering is equally rich: walking safaris, tranquil boat trips, mokoro excursions, and wide-ranging game drives—day and night—delve deep into the wilderness.
Ideal for couples, families, and seasoned safari-goers alike, Sediba Sa Rona offers a luxurious base for exploring the Okavango's Khwai and Moremi reserves. It fits seamlessly into a broader Botswana itinerary, combining easily with wildlife-rich destinations like Savuti and Chobe. With its inter-leading family tent and year-round game viewing, it's well suited to both adventurous groups and those seeking quiet immersion in nature—especially during the dramatic seasonal transitions that shape this ever-evolving landscape.

The Luxury Tents line the banks of the Khwai River, spaced apart, offering both privacy and a front-row seat to the delta’s daily wildlife theatre. Each tent is connected to the main camp via ground walkways and feature generous private decks—perfect for quiet moments and armchair safaris. Inside, a canopied bed with mosquito netting and a ceiling fan ensures restful sleep while, behind the sleeping area, a dressing space leads to an en-suite bathroom complete with a spacious indoor shower and double vanity. The interiors are calm and tactile, blending soft natural tones, organic textures, and plush furnishings for understated comfort.
For those travelling with children or in a small group, the Family Tent offers the ideal setup: two Luxury Tents joined by a connecting deck. Both tents can be configured to twin of king beds and have an ensuite bathroom.
A day at Sediba Sa Rona begins with the soft knock of a gentle wake-up call. As the sun begins to rise, enjoy a steaming cup of coffee or tea and set off on an early morning game drive in an open-sided vehicle, the bush slowly stirring to life around you. After tracking wildlife for a few hours, you return to camp for a well-earned breakfast, followed by a relaxing dip in the pool or a quiet moment with a book on a shaded lounger. The riverside lounge, with its soft cushions and far-reaching views, is a perfect spot to settle in with binoculars and watch hippos wallow or birds flit across the water.
Lunch is served on the deck, fresh and flavourful, and afterwards you might choose to book a massage at the spa with the sounds of the breeze rustling the leaves and birds or monkeys twittering and rustling through the branches. The afternoon brings another adventure, perhaps by mokoro or on a game drive that continues into the early evening. After a dinner served under the stars, the firepit beckons with its warm glow, inviting stories, nightcaps, and shared laughter. Before bed, you can send a photo or two home via the lodge's Wi-Fi or drop your clothes in the laundry—ready for another beautiful day to come.

Mornings begin gently with a wake-up coffee, tea, and freshly baked biscuits—just enough to fuel the anticipation of the early game drive. On your return, a generous mid-morning breakfast awaits, offering everything from fresh fruit and warm pastries to made-to-order hot dishes.
After a bout of relaxation, lunch is served—light yet satisfying, often enjoyed alfresco on the deck overlooking the river. High tea follows in the late afternoon, just before you set out for the next adventure. Evenings are reserved for a three-course dinner, paired with good wine and even better company, served beneath a canopy of stars or within the warmly lit dining area. Whether by firelight or lantern-light, meals at Sediba Sa Rona are always part of the experience.
What sets Sediba Sa Rona apart is its location—right on the edge of the Khwai River, where you get incredible wildlife sightings without even leaving camp.
