Singita Ebony was terrific. Everything from the room, the food, the wine and of course the game drives were absolutely tops.
Trip was amazing! Ebony Lodge was the best recommendation you could have ever made! Not only the lodge itself but the people working there – amazing service and very, very friendly.
Singita Ebony totally blew us away. We were torn between wanting to stay in our room, enjoy the lodge facilities and going on game drives although the latter always took precedence and we wouldn't have missed them for anything. We were really lucky with all the animals we saw including some of the rarer ones such as wild dogs and striped jackal. Daniella our guide was amazing and so knowledgeable and all the staff at Singita looked after us so well but in a very friendly and unobtrusive manner. We had an excellent wine tasting with the sommelier Chantelle who certainly opened our eyes to the vast variety of South African wine (no more thinking that South African wine is just Chenin blanc!).
A highlight was Singita Ebony Lodge. The best that money can buy, great animal sightings, amazing hospitality.
Singita was our favourite. They were very professional and the room was wonderful. They couldn't do enough to help with anything we requested and their attention to the smallest detail was appreciated.
