Lebombo Lodge is a sophisticated, Afro-chic retreat. Its sweeping wooden decks overlook a favourite watering spot for elephant and the bustling bushveld of South Africa’s famous Kruger National Park.

Morning and afternoon game drives in the foothills of the Lebombo Mountains promise excellent Big 5 game viewing year-round. Guided nature walks provide a more intimate perspective on the wilderness.

The Lodge offers the novel opportunity to hone your archery skills, along with a gym, spa and inviting lap pool, all boasting beautiful views. The wine cellar is well-stocked and offers up excellent accompaniments to the fine dining served in the charming open-air boma.

Luxury Suite

Lebombo's 15 Luxury Suites are refreshingly original with elegant loft architecture featuring glass and timber. This sophisticated design ethic flows through the stylish trimmings and thoughtful personal touches.     From the greeting on the plane to the entire experience here, this was an outstanding lodge. The only complaint we had, which we shared with the lodge, was that the young man who handled our initial intro to the lodge and our room missed quite a few things that would have been very helpful to know – everything from the phone number to call in order to get someone to walk us to dinner (which is required once the sun has set) to knowing that they prepared snacks for guests to eat before afternoon drives…we saw them and figured another guest has specifically asked for them!). He was only 1 month into the job, so I suggested that they need to provide him (and others) with a specific orientation checklist so these first-touch moments with guests aren’t left to chance. On the other end of the spectrum, our guide (Garry) and his tracker (Sully) could not have been better. The in-house Sommelier (Minnie) was a pure joy to be around AND she was an excellent wine person! The dinner server we were assigned was also excellent. All in all, a near-perfect 3-day stay.

    At Singita, we were beyond impressed with their attention to detail. From the service, to the food, to the sommelier keeping an eye on what types of wines we did and did not like throughout our stay, the spa, the game rides….our guide and tracker were just outstanding! We really couldn’t have been more impressed with the entire trip.

    Singita Lebombo – also a wonderful experience like Londolozi but different due to a new area and some different animals. It was very modern and a little more formal but a good change – it felt more like a high end resort. Again, the guides, staff and overall experience was top notch!
