Swakopmund. A magnificence town where we managed to free-fall, quad bike ( I turned one over which I don't recommend), fly over Sousesfli, do the township tour, obvious see the seal colonies and pelicans ( Kayak if you want to get really close) , oil rigs, play golf, and eat well — and there were still things to do when we left.
Swakopmund Guest House had its own private courtyard for us and was friendly and helpful. If you want to go to the Tug restaurant, i.e. the very popular, you need to book weeks ahead.
Swakopmund Guesthouse was very good.
Swakopmund was very interesting and the landscape with desert and ocean/ fog is amazing. The guest house was great.
The accommodation choices were great – the motel in Swakopmund was the only one that wasn’t that good (the receptionist needed a refresher in customer service) but it was only a pitstop anyway.
The Guest house at Swakopmund was very friendly and welcoming. They booked a table at a beach restaurant for us where we enjoyed an excellent fish evening meal.
