Now, I believe we had the best saved for last. I cannot thank the team at Tanda Tula Camp enough for their genuine kindness and professionalism. What a beautiful bunch of people! We were flabbergasted with the glamorous tents and safari experience. B oth myself and my mum have been on safari before but there was absolutely no comparison. All the team needs to be congratulated. The staff who left the tents/grounds in immaculate condition, the kitchen staff who prepared delicious 5 star menus, our wonderful guide and tracker (Scotch and Patrick) who passed on so much detailed knowledge and jokes and really tailored the experience to suit us, the lovely ladies serving us our meals who immediately remembered our names and always greeted us with such warm smiles all need to be commended. Foreman one of the managers was an absolute darling and just seemed to bring everything together so nicely. They do work so hard as were up before us each day and rested long after us each night yet each appeared to have such a passion for what they do. The evening meal all together was a lovely plus and created such a family vibe. Just incredible. We will treasure these memories forever!

'Awesome destination. Cannot praise it enough. The ethos of the owners ripples through the whole place. Every detail thought of and executed eith friendliness and charm. Electric blankets, hot-water bottles on early game drives, wonderful tea/coffee tray with wake-up call. Efficient, speedy and free laundry service. Much appreciated. Superb meals served with imagination, style and passion by chef Ryan who described each dish before lunch and dinner so as to assist anyone with an allergy. Seating arrangements at dinner encouraged social mixing which enhanced the whole camp-like experience. The entire management and hospitality team were passionate about their camp, location, ecology and, in a most natural way, exuded friendship to all their guests. We felt we were staying with a FAMILY. The bush venue for breakfast was the absolute highlight. Never met anything so enchanting in Africa before. A total delight. Excellent ranger and tracker. Great knowledge and excellent driving skills in many a difficult situation. Sotch and Patrick were our ranger and tracker. We can only praise this venue - it far out-reached our expectations and whilst there we met people from America, Cuba, Brazil and they were full of praise for every thing the team did at Tanda Tula.'

'Just to tell you we are having an awesome time at Tanda Tula. Outstandingly friendly. Such a tranquil setting. Doing so well with game sighting to include leopard and lionesses. Leopard walking in and around vehicles. Frequent and good sighting of e lephant and large herds of buffalo too. Have met some lovely lively people at the lodge and the staff themselves could not be more accommodating. I appreciate having our tent close to the main lodge. The bush breakfasts( full English breakfast) on the banks of a dry riverbed are a pure magical idea. The boma dinner last night was very special. Believe me, we are delighted with this choice and weather sublime (26C-30C).'

Tanda Tula was a highlight of the trip. The right choice for a unique approach to Kruger safari that will leave us with lifetime memories. We saw the Big 5 and even Magnificent 7 in an amazing environment with superb service from guide/tracker and ho tel staff. Could not have been better.

Tanda Tula was a lovely camp. The staff were attentive, engaged and enthusiastic. The tents were well located, nice views and well maintained. We had a nice ranger and during the drives we were able to spot a lot of animals and meanwhile were learnin g about them too. To see the Big five and many more in 3 days made us really excited. Overall a great camp.

We thoroughly enjoyed both game parks. They were different but both very good so it would be hard to put one above the other. Tanda Tula was a bit more casual being a tented camp and the experience of being in a tent at night and hearing all the an imals was amazing. They had fabulous food, the staff were excellent. We finally got to see good sightings of leopard! We also had amazing sightings of wild dogs at Simbambili which was very special.

This is such an amazing experience and it’s all because of you! I told Nina, the owner, that her place was selected for us by you @ Go2Africa. She, of course, was thrilled so I hope that helps your business connection in the future. This is totally beyond what we expected.

Tanda Tula Safari Camp - The safari was what we looked forward the most, it was definitely the highlight of the entire trip, the food was 5 star, the people helpful, friendly, hard workers, and again they all seemed to really enjoy their work, our to ur guide and spotter were full of knowledge, wanting, willing to share their experiences, and again always a ready smile, no matter what time of day. The safari was totally wonderful, every day their was something new to see, to learn, to enjoy.

Tanda Tula was terrific - it far exceeded our expectations . We have never been to any other game lodge so we can't compare it to anything else but I can't imagine being treated any better . The staff were without exception friendly and concerned wi th taking care of our every need and desire . The accommodations felt very luxurious - it did not feel like tent camping at all and the main lodge was beautiful and comfortable . The food was delicious and plentiful and served elegantly - I think that we all gained weight . As for the game drives , we did see the " big five " as well as many other animals . The rangers and trackers were knowledgeable and excited about their work and willing to answer our many questions ( all of which I am sure that they have answered many times before ) . I would highly recommend it to any of your future clients .

Tanda Tula - very nice. Managers/partners were particularly nice. Tents were nice. Could do with a facelift - but then again they are 4 stars. Quite cold at night - could do with a heater but they did supply lots of blankets. Walks with Jacob wer e great. Animal experiences were great and the people were very nice.

"Tanda Tula and Shussi & Chuma were both an experience never to be forgotten - the whole concept of the camp and tree houses was amazing and both extremely well organised."

You suggestions were excellent. We loved Tanda Tula instantly. The tent was a glamorous one but more than that the staff were amazingly friendly and the atmosphere very relaxed and delightfully communal. We loved the owners' political commitments. Th e other guests were a fascinating bunch and we all got on famously. And, of course, the outings were amazing. We were very happy with the ranger who knew a great deal and was very pleased to point out the birds as well which is what I and some others wanted. We had some fantastic sightings. I particularly liked picking up a chameleon but the high spot was probably the leopard and oldish cub on both days of sighting. On the second, it had climbed into a dead tree with its kill, and the impala legs were dangling down, getting the marauding hyenas excited. We got so close, seeing the red meat. There was so much I could report on, and I musn't forget the 14 lions, including the white lion group, and the 4 5 month old cubs we found snuggling together while mum went out hunting. They were adorable, especially when they sat up and one yawned looking as though he was trying out a fierce roar. It's all on camera! Oh and the wild dogs and the wart hogs on the camp lawn … All this was a hard act to follow and we left for Sabi Sands wondering if we might be 'overdoing' the safari bit - but no!!

The safari camps and game drives were an incredible experience. A bit more luxury at Tanda Tuula, but wonderful coziness and hospitality at Notten's. Food was excellent at both places, and they both knew about and met my dietary restrictions with n o problems. At both locations we saw all of the Big 5 several times over, as well as a cheetah and a glimpse of a pack of wild dogs (in Sabi Sands), so 'almost' the Magnificent 7, and of course zebra, wildebeest, giraffe, and everything in between. Our wildlife photos are gorgeous.
