I wanted to tell you that a stay here is absolutely wonderful. Kevin, who may be the general manager, was always so attentive, warm and welcoming (as was other staff). The chef is top-notch, and we talked to him at length on our second night there. Everyone was always eager to please us, and we chatted with the staff frequently; everyone was always so welcoming. On the day of our trek, they had us sit and fitted us with gaiters and gave us backpacks for our things and sent us on our way with a bag of snacks for the day (muffin, fruit, etc.). When we returned, they took our socks, shoes, and gaiters – and returned them early the next morning laundered and cleaned. Our room was beautiful and comfortable, and we slept well after our days visiting the city and our gorilla trek. We LOVED it here!
